mischa decided on chicken adobo, 
a dish that represents home. 

born in the philippines and growing up
in multiple different countries, caused her 
to feel disconnected from the culture she was born in.

however through food, 
she is able to reconnect to her culture and loved ones.
chicken adobo recipe

chicken thighs
dark soy sauce
white vinegar
onion
garlic
ginger
peppercorns
sugar
bay leaves
eggs


marinate the chicken in soy sauce, onion & garlic for a at least an hour

panfry the chicken until half cooked, 
afterwards boil the marinade in a pot along with the chicken

soft boil eggs, remove the shell and add it to the pot.

add extra water, white vinegar, sugar, peppercorns & bay leaves

let it cook & simmer for at least an hour

serve with rice!
